Synopsis

Portugal, 1975. A time of rough changes. A young gay artist trapped in a small seaside town ran by communist winds. This is the story of Portugal’s post revolution, of the changing of mind-sets, of the rise of its greatest modern poet, Al Berto, thanks to the love affair with a young villager who showed him that though love does not conquer all, it lasts forever and is well worth writing about. Based on a true love story.
